One of the first audio-first books I have experienced. On my WW2 binge, this was a natural addition. This book has many excerpts from primary source audio and conversations with well known historians helping Malcolm tell a hilarious story.
Little did I know, but this book would teach me about the origins of the Air Force and tie together interesting threads on the Pacific and European threads of WW2.
I am definitely not a fan of most of Gladwell's work (I admit he is quite a prolific writer), but this was super fun! I recommend it easily (in audio form).
